CRAIG & ROSE STORE 

The Craig and Rose paint supplier appointed DOR Developments to undertake the refurbishment of an existing retail unit to make way for the first ever Craig and Rose high-street store.

 

Established in 1829, the Craig and Rose company required a trusted contractor to undertake the refurbishment. The store was transformed with new windows and doors, plastering and drylining, joinery including bespoke furniture, precision painting and decorating, alongside new flooring and electrics. The existing retail unit has now been transformed into a beautiful store, bursting with history and character.

 

The London based project is the first of many Craig and Rose stores in the pipeline across the UK. 

DOR Developments undertook the complete design and build of a two-storey Manor House. The design was focused on incorporating the buildings structure and appearance into the surrounding area, providing a cottage inspired building that compliments the surrounding village.

DOR developments undertook all aspects of the build including traditional brick construction, plastering, screeding and decorating.

THE STABLE HOUSE

DOR Developments was appointed to provide a bespoke landscaping solution to compliment the high specification Stable House Apartments in Lutterworth. 

​

The landscaping works featured intrinsic block paving and the creation of new flower beds within the courtyard. 

​

THE STABLE HOUSE

Leading as main contractor, DOR Developments refurbished the kitchen area of an existing stable house. We worked closely with the client to enhance the existing features of the building, developing a modern facility that's respective of its history.

 

As part of the refurbishment, DOR Developments applied a floor screed before laying traditional red quarry tiles. Two new kitchen facilities were designed and constructed, with all traditional beams being preserved throughout. 

TUNBRIDGE, KENT

DOR Developments led the renovation of an existing kiln oast house conversion into a five bedroom home in Kent. The project also required  the design and build of a detached two-bedroom annex to the rear of the property.

The existing property was renovated and re-built to a high standard, compromising of an entire rip out, structural alterations, loft conversion, plastering, new services and decoration. 

​

To the rear of the property, DOR Developments were assigned to design and build a large-two storey annex which was constructed to mirror the features of the existing house. 

​

The house is complete with 19 rooms, including a gym and open plan kitchen and dining facility. 

​

All works were completed by DOR Developments.

LANDSCAPING, CALVERTON

DOR completed patio works for a client in Calverton, Nottinghamshire. Although only a small project we were very pleased to be able to help a local customer maximise space across their garden.  

BARN CONVERSIONS,

ORSTON

DOR Developments have completed five barn conversions at a site at Orston, Nottinghamshire. 

​

The project was designed, built and developed for sale by DOR Developments Ltd. Externally, the build required structural alterations, traditional brick work and render. 

​

Internally, the conversions featured modern yet traditional kitchen and bathroom facilities completed with solid oak flooring, 

OLD POST OFFICE, HARBY

DOR Developments undertook the entire refurbishment of the Old Post Office in Harby, Leicestershire. The building was stripped back to its basic structure, insulated externally and completed using a sand cement render. 

​

Internally, new partitions were formed, with new electrics, plumbing and internal decorations. 

EXTENSION, BRADFORD-ON-AVON

DOR Developments undertook the entire refurbishment of the Old Post Office in Harby, Leicestershire. The building was stripped back to its basic structure, insulated externally and completed using a sand cement render. 

​

Internally, new partitions were formed, with new electrics, plumbing and internal decorations.
